Sunil Sakkarwal has been in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years. He is a registered Yoga Instructor, Personal Trainer and Weight Trainer with BCRPA and he has enjoyed a successful career as a Physiotherapist and Yoga Instructor. Sunil’s recent experience includes:

Sunil is passionate about helping people overcome injuries and physical challenges, as well as developing their personal fitness for long term health and well-being.
Gurdeep completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in 2005 from the MGM Medical College, DAVV University, Indore, India, and Master of Sports Physiotherapy degree in 2007 from the GNDU University, Amritsar,India.
She did her postgraduate research paper on Comparison of Efficacy of Thera-Band, Plyometric and Combination Training on strength of Quadriceps evaluated on Isoinertial Dynamometer. This research paper was published in the Journal of Sports authority of India (2007). She has presented scientific papers at the Annual Conference of Indian Association of Sports Medicine in 2005 and 2006.Since her graduation, she has been practicing Physiotherapy. She is licensed for IMS/Dry Needling treatment and she is presently pursuing Acupuncture.
Gurdeep has experience in teaching as well. She was visiting lecturer at MGM Medical College, India, for Yoga Therapy. In 2010, she became a registered Yoga Instructor and Personal Trainer with BCRPA. She has worked as a Yoga instructor at the South Surrey Recreation Center and as a Yoga Instructor on a KVOS TV show. She has been consulted on Red FM a few times as a Physiotherapist, and recently was a speaker on iCON. Gurdeep’s professional attitude involves an integrative approach. Her treatment technique focuses on both assessment and treatment, to maximize functional recovery. She believes the best results can be achieved from a positive approach, and that a positive environment can improve health and quality of life.
Gurdeep is an active person. She does yoga every day and various fitness activities to maintain her own positive health and fitness, and she is a proud Vancouver Sun Run finisher.

Siva graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in Chennai, India in 1999 and completed his Masters in Sports Therapy at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, India in 2002. He has worked in private practice and Multi-speciality hospital settings and private Physiotherapy schools in India for more than a decade providing him with valuable experience in multiple areas of practice. Before moving into Pro Motion Physiotherapy, he had worked in work conditioning for WorkSafeBC clients at CBI Fleetwood Surrey center and Vital Life Physiotherapy Clinic.
Siva is committed to enrich his professional knowledge through education. He recently completed his Diploma in Dry Needling from the Functional Dry Needling Institute of UK in Vancouver, Level 1 in Fascial Manipulation course from the Registered Therapists of Fascial Manipulation®, Italy, Level 1 and 2 in Vestibular rehabilitation from Mr. Bernard Tonks and Level 1 in Functional Biomechanics from Dr. Jay Grossman.
As Siva has worked in various provinces in North India namely Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Gujarat and Karnataka, He is fluent in communicating in various Indian languages like Tamil, English, Hindi, Saurashtra, Malayalam,Gujarati and Punjabi. He treats his patients with empathy, dignity and respect, and encourages a return to activity through exercise and education.
In his spare time, he reads Hindu scriptures, visits temples and enjoys spending time with his wife and kids.
Jay is a graduate of the Registered Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College. His journey in massage therapy have begun from his sport injury when he was a soccer player. He is passionate about helping patients from chronic pain due to poor posture or working, motor vehicle accidents, stress, and sport or work injuries.
Tony graduated from the Massage Therapy program at the Vancouver Career College and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. During his training, he was able to participate in many outreach opportunities and treated patients with various conditions. He worked with elderly patients, athletes, individuals with mental or physical disabilities, and those living with HIV and cancer. Additionally, he had a great deal of experience in treating ICBC patients. Some of the common injuries related to ICBC patients include, whiplash, severe headaches, muscle strain, nerve damage, and disc herniation.

Whether you have issues such as pain and soreness from daily activities or age related, stress and tension headache, sport or other injury, limited range of motion, rehabilitation, health maintenance or just relaxation, you will be in good hands.

Wonyoung(Young) YU is a registered acupuncturist in BC(CTCMA).
Young specializes in pain management with the Traditional Chinese Medicine –combining Balanced method, Sa Am chim technique, and Scalp/Ear Acupuncture as well as Electro-acupuncture. He is also proficient in acupressure (Tuina massage), various glass cupping techniques and scrapping (GuaSha) therapy. It quickly reduces pain and restores the balance between muscles by improving Qi and blood circulation. This overall can provide well rounded healing in chronic pain, sports injuries and MVA whiplash injuries.
He also has a special interest in coordinating emotional and physical balance. He uses a traditional acupuncture technique to help with physical and emotional disorders including stress-resulting symptoms/diseases, insomnia, anxiety, and depression by re-balancing the energies of Yin & Yang, and restoring the functions of internal organs.
He has completed the 4 years TCM Practitioner program at the Tzu Chi International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He originally studied Music in Korea and worked as a professional music composer for over a decade.

Amar received his Masters in Physiotherapy from Oxford, United Kingdom in 2018 and his Bachelors in Science with a specialization in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from SFU in 2015. While in the UK, Amar has enjoyed working with professional soccer players at Oxford United FC (League One) and has assisted in a being a sideline therapist for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC youth teams.
Amar has been heavily involved in the local soccer community and his passion for physical rehabilitation comes from years of his own athletic experiences as well as from coaching local athletes.
He is a firm believer in the combined effects of manual therapy and exercise prescription in assisting patients to achieve their full potential. Amar’s clinical experience has provided him with various treatment techniques and clinical skills to address different dysfunctions. He plans on completing his Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, Certification in Acupuncture and Sport Physiotherapy Canada Diploma.
Outside the clinic you may find Amar coaching and playing soccer, watching local sports, playing FIFA, and spending time with family.
Also known as Nake, Harnek attended the University of British Columbia and graduated in 2019 with his Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and also completed a minor in science in biology. He is a registered member of the BC Association of Kinesiologists. Harnek plans to pursue a masters degree in occupational therapy in the near future. Throughout his studies, Harnek has done numerous volunteer work. He works as a medical first responder with St. John Ambulance, with public health, and in an emergency department.
Growing up, Harnek played multiple sports such as soccer, hockey, tennis, and volleyball and worked as a soccer referee. His passion for fitness and health through exercise and nutritional science drove him towards a career in active rehabilitation. Harnek is experienced in exercise prescription in his own life and for injury and post-operative rehabilitation. He strongly believes that through active rehabilitation, strength and function can be regained in order to return to activities of daily living.
In his spare time, Harnek enjoys hiking and exploring different mountains, playing sports such as soccer and tennis, and using his knowledge of nutrition for cooking new and healthy meals, or reading books about history and self improvement.
